The Full-thickness model is an artificial skin model composed of a complex structure of the epidermis and dermis. This artificial skin model can be used for efficacy testing through in vitro assays (such as testing cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceuticals, and improvement of skin conditions). It can also be utilized for various responsive tests required for tissue regeneration, such as burn models and wound models.
Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) is utilized to differentiate essential components of the full-thickness model, including keratinocytes and fibroblasts, to construct a uniform quality cellular model. Our R&D partner, Clecell, conducts research on various aspects, such as skin beauty, skin aging, and wound healing, using the full-thickness model.
